We had a wonderful first week back! It was so great to hear all about everyone's spring breaks! Read below to see what we have been up to this week!
Monday
We leaned a new lively letter. Ask your child:
- what letter is this?
- what sound does it make?
- what are some words that begin with this letter?
Tuesday
We drew and wrote in our journals about what we did on spring break! Ask your child what they wrote!

Wednesday
In math, we practiced decomposing (taking apart) and composing (putting together) numbers. We explored different ways to break apart number 6 using blocks and number bonds. Then we learned to play the game "elimination" where we put together the quantities on two dice to make and then cross off numbers on our number lines. The first one to eliminate all of their numbers wins! Ask your child to tell you about it!

Thursday
We went to literacy centers while Mrs. Noftall read or worked with students. Ask your child what they worked on at literacy centers!
