Tuesday
We worked on a project for someone special!
Wednesday
We wrote in our journal about something we wanted to do over the summer. Ask your child what they wrote!
Thursday
We made Bannock with our grade 3 buddies, then we got to taste it! Ask your child if they liked it!
Friday!
The afternoon class came for their last Friday! We practiced reading CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) words by completing a "color by CVC word" coloring sheet. We also played letter and word headbands. One person put a "mystery" word or letter on their headband and the other students made letter sounds to help them guess their letter or word. Then they try to write the mystery word on a whiteboard and see if they area correct! We also had outdoor gym and playground time!
Last Week of School Reminders!
- Kindergarten will have their play day on Tuesday, June 23rd during their gym time. After their gym block, students will be offered a freezie before having some playground time. If you do NOT want your child to have a freezie for any reason, please email me at pmnoftall@cbe.ab.ca. If I do not hear from you, I will assume your child is allowed to eat one!
- We will have a movie day to end your year. Students will watch a movie over the last two days (Wednesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 25th) to help spread out the sitting!
- We will be trying to get outdoors whenever we can over the last week. It is recommended that students apply sunscreen before coming to school and wear a hat on sunny days.
- Last day for Kindergarten is Thursday, June 25th.
