Welcome! We are so excited to be starting the 2026-2027 year with you! This year, our whole school will continue to use Blogger to make regular agenda posts. Posts for Kindergarten will usually be published on the last school day of each week. (Usually Thursday or Friday)
Blog posts will include information about what we have been learning about each day as well as important reminders and upcoming dates and events. Our blog will also include photos of all of the fun things we are doing at school. If you would like to see your child's picture featured on the blog, you will have to give consent to post and publish while filling out our child's forms on My CBE PowerSchool at the start of the year. Students who have not filled out the forms or who have opted to not give consent will not have photos of their faces posted.
To make it easier for you, you can add the blog right on the home screen of your phone or iPad or tablet. We hope this makes communication between home and school easier and opens great conversations between you and your child.
The CBE and Mrs. Brinson will be communicating important updates and information to you through School Messenger email titled, “Northern Lights News for ___”. This email will include a link to the Northern Lights School Website so messages can be translated into any language.
